A Holiday Disneyland Proposal Straight Out of a Vintage Postcard
Let’s be honest, there’s definitely a growing group of people who are just obsessed with Disney in and out. And it’s really hard to judge, who doesn’t like feeling like a kid and being able to relive those memories you grew up with as a child? Even better… If your fiancé is a huge fan as well… Why not propose to her and the happiest place on earth?
Dapper Day and a Surprise!
For those of you who know about an event called Dapper Day, it’s a celebration at Disneyland of vintage style and culture, going all the way from the 20’s up into the 60’s Americana. A lot of people dress up very cute during this time, and this adorable couple had done just that… But he had a surprise for his soon-to-be fiancée. The hardest part about something like this is that I had to hide… No one wants a photographer just standing there looking like they’re up to something. I kept it cool and waited for the right moment and got some amazing images.
The Retro Outfits
As I mentioned with dapper day, a lot of people dress up very classy and very creatively with their outfits… Often Disney-inspired.
Her super cute Snow White outfit couldn’t have been a better look at this surprising engagement… And I definitely feel like it turned some heads the moment this happened. It’s one thing to get your proposal images in front of the Magic Kingdom, but it’s another to have the right outfit!
Why Holiday Disneyland Just Works
If you’re thinking about proposing, the holidays at Disneyland are honestly one of the best times of year. The park just has that holiday feel and smell, and just about every corner looks like a scene from a movie. They also have a massive amount of decorations if having that as part of your images is important to you. Not often we get to see some snow in Orange County!
