Los Angeles Engagement Session: How a car can make an Image

Sometimes all you need for amazing engagement photos is a beautiful couple and a sexy car.

Some people can go all the way with their engagement session. Others prefer something a little more reserved if they’re not the most comfortable with the camera. This couple was definitely the latter, and I think it worked really well with them by having a classic muscle car as something to lean into with the backdrop. It took a lonely Southern California desert Road with a classic muscle car to make the simple concept into something epic.

Being a little more camera shy couple than most, we wanted to do something that let them feel like they’re in a moment versus having a camera pointed in their face. As a photographer, I definitely understand the balance… We all want amazing photos, but it’s not always easy to have them taken… especially something as intimate as being with your loved one. This was a perfect way to get them away from random strangers walking about and really allowed them to spend a special moment together, all the while, making these timeless images that I have to say… I absolutely do.
