Napa Valley Engagement Photo session | Trish and Kyle

Kyle and Trish have been together for years, connected by their shared love of custom car culture and all things vintage. Trish has been modeling for years and also runs her own company, Comet Girl Sunnies, where she hand-pinstripes sunglasses and creates custom pieces for clients. On the other side is Kyle—an automotive instructor and custom car builder whose name can be found in the credits of multiple high-end, award-winning builds.

So really, what better way to celebrate their engagement than with a beautiful location and an equally beautiful car? Even though I live in Southern California, I love to travel and getting to be a Napa Valley wedding and engagement photographer for a day to get to photograph a couple in their hometown of Napa felt especially meaningful. We took their customized 1953 Ford out for a drive and parked it in front of the Uptown Theatre—perfectly matching the glitz, glam, and retro energy of this incredible couple.
